Financial FAQ

Dental Insurance is one of your best employee perks. Here are a few facts about your plan.

•  Benefits are not designed to cover all the costs of your care. They pay for a percentage, and the patient pays the rest.
•  They do not reflect in any way your specific dental needs.
•  Benefits are a contract between your employer and the insurance company. We have very little power over how they pay, because they have no relationship with us. Occasionally, we may ask you to step in to help resolve circumstances of non-payment.
•  Benefits may not cover your specific dental needs. This does not mean you don’t need recommended treatment.
•  Coverage tends to follow the value of the plan your employer purchased for their employees. The less expensive the plan, the lower the coverage.
•  Unlike health insurance where there is unlimited coverage and co-payments are standard, dental insurance has different percentages of co-payment depending on the type of services you need.
•  If dental insurance covered all procedures at 100 %, the premiums would be too expensive for employers to offer it. Our team will make every effort to help you maximize your benefits, regardless of the type of treatment you’ve chosen.
•  As a courtesy to you we will prepare and submit your claim to your insurance company.
•  When required, we will submit a pre-treatment estimate. These are written notices from your insurance company regarding what they will pay toward treatment. Though often accurate, they are not a guarantee of payment.
•  Unpaid claims – for any reason - and /or patient balances, are the patients' responsibility.

For your convenience we accept Cash, Checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Card.

We realize comprehensive treatment may require financial planning. We have third-party financing available through CareCredit®, to make extensive treatment affordable. We do not finance treatment in-house.
